I've never had a wine from this varietal before so this is definitely a fresh experience. It had a very nice lighter color to it with that ever familiar yellow tint. On the nose, I picked up on some apple and pears and little citrus even, basically a lot of fruit. When I took the first sip however it proved to be quite salty and sweet at the same time, reminding me a little bit of trail mix (but without the chocolate). Not bad, nice and refreshing and crisp but after the first sip there wasn't much else going on.
